I am President and C.E.O. of MUSIC NOT POLITICS (http://musicnotpolitics.com), a music management company in a virtual online metaverse known as Second Life (SL). Second Life consists of over 10 million residents represented by their avatars and completely interactive in the community. I manage the careers of 15 performers in SL; some of whom I manage in the real world as well. In SL my artists, having actual avatar presence, perform live on virtual stages from their home studios utilizing streaming technology to live audiences of actual avatars from around the world as well as people tuned in world wide through the internet. During a live concert in SL the fans are able to interact with the performers cheering, making requests, commenting etc. and are able to interact with other fans in the room all using text chat.

MUSIC NOT POLITICS is partnered with Butterflies Radio, an independent internet radio station which plays all independent music and is streamed at numerous high traffic locations throughout SL as well as being accessible world wide through the internet. Trax Music Resource Center a location in SL where musicians go to learn to stream, learn to collaborate with other musicians from all over the world, venues go to learn about musicians in SL and fans go to hear musicians in SL from their listening booths. Trax also produces SL CD’s; actual CD objects that are either purchased or given to fans and can be played on the owners land in SL or in owners default media player on their hard drive: From the default player the CD can be downloaded to the hard drive and transferred to any media device of the owners choosing. Money Island and Money Tree Island, two of the most high traffic areas in SL, seeing traffic upwards of 50,000 residents daily; all newer residents looking to obtain free items for use in and out of SL.
